* Up to 3 dogs may share a standard size kennel for a reduced rate provided the dogs can be fed together. Dogs that need to be separated for meals will need to be booked in separate kennels. Pleasant Park Kennels and Grooming will not separate dogs to eat, or stand and supervise feedings to be sure the dogs get the right food and/or amounts. We recommend that dogs who share a kennel be on the same diet. We strongly recommend that dogs that require medications be booked in separate kennels. If we feel your dogs are too large to comfortably share a standard sized kennel you will need to book two separate kennels.

**All holidays and long weekends require a minimum 2 night stay, and a 2 day deposit is required for all holidays and long weekends. The 2 day deposit will be applied to your final bill. Deposits are refundable only if notice of cancellation is given a minimum of two weeks prior to the holiday/long weekend. Less than two weeks notice will result in your deposit being non refundable.

Requirements:

  • All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines:
  • Rabies
  • DA2PP (distemper, adeno virus, parvo virus, para influenza)
  • Bordatella (kennel cough, canine cough)
  • We also strongly recommend the Leptospirosis vaccine.

Vaccines must be sent to the kennel at least 7 days prior to boarding or grooming. Vaccines can be faxed to (519)723-2096, emailed to Pleasant Park Kennels, or dropped off at the office during business hours. If your dog’s vaccines are expired or he/she is missing any they must be administered a minimum of 7 days prior to boarding or grooming.

We strongly recommend that any time your pet is boarding they be on current flea and/or tick control. Dogs will be assessed for health and injuries on arrival. If your pet is found to have fleas and/or ticks your dog will be required to have a flea bath prior to being allowed in the kennel. The flea bath will be added to your bill. If you decline this service, your pet will not be allowed to board. Even with our rigid screening and thorough cleaning process, we cannot guarantee that dogs that are not on flea control will not contract fleas and/or ticks from other pets while boarding.

Tours available Monday to Saturday 10am – 3pm – no appointment necessary!

Pleasant Park Kennels and Grooming reserves the right to refuse service to any dog whose vaccines are expired, has had vaccines administered in the 7 days prior to visiting the kennel, appears visibly ill, or who we feel is unfit for boarding due to age, temperament, illness or injury.
